Crandall Eye was founded by Dr. Elizabeth Crandall with the idea that a solo provider can still provide exceptional customer service and quality eye care.  After cold calling many communities throughout the South East, Wayne Memorial Hospital answered and thought it was a great idea.  As soon as Dr. Crandall graduated, she set forth to be one of the very few brave enough to go out and practice medicine as a solo practitioner. 

With the help of Wayne Memorial Hospital and her husband Justin Crandall, Dr. Crandall trained the operating room staff to perform eye surgery, hired extremely friendly staff and on August 1, 2012, opened her doors.

5,500 + patients later, here we are.  Since then, Dr. Crandall has performed thousands of Cataract Surgeries, Laser Surgeries, Eye Exams and Retinal Procedures, allowing members of the community to receive big city care within the comfort of their local community.

We’re now on our way to expand into other markets and have opened a second office in Brunswick, GA.  Our mission is to keep our approach of southern hospitality blended with expert eye care and to deliver that to other communities.  We are always improving to make ourselves more efficient, more friendly and to make our patients comfortable in knowing that they are being taken care of as if they are a part of our family.
